Bright Spots - An unlikely Gathering

In Bright Spots, familiar objects and unlikely characters become reminders of joy, memory, and resilience. Oranges, fireflies, a bonfire, stacked stones, a disco ball, and goldfish, may seem random, but they occupy a world where playfulness and uncertainty often exist side by side. Working in layers of oil and cold wax, I build, scrape, conceal and reveal, allowing flashes of bright color to remain visible beneath the surface. These paintings celebrate the small things that stay with us ...and the light we continue to find along the way.
