I couldn't go through my favorite things without painting one of our Christmas trees. They are very merry, very tall and very often they are quite unusual. We put an addition on our little Cape Cod style home  years ago and we were determined to have a tall ceiling where we could fit a giant Christmas tree. Every year, with saw in hand, we head to Watsons tree farm to find the tallest most unusual tree. Sometimes crooked, sometimes kind of bare, and sometimes loaded with pine cones or berries. What a fun thing to have a giant tree in our house.
