Fish represent motion.

 

I am drawn to circles. Sometimes I paint series of abstract circles, using my fishbowls as a starting point. 

 

I love the repetition of this circular movement and how it allows me to just let go…stop thinking…go with the flow.

 

It feels therapeutic.

 

I started painting this way when Lyme disease was affecting my eyesight and dexterity, and making it difficult for me to paint fine detail.

 

Now I just enjoy it!
