What can I say... top hats are cool. I have a history with top hats. I was a tap dancer (and ballerina) throughout my childhood and up until I left for college. Our dance troupe would perform at the Masonic Temple and the Showmobile at street fairs all over Scranton. Performances with a top hat seemed special. I have a collection of top hats now of various sizes and colors, steampunk varieties, and even one that pops open. So cool. My son took a liking to top hats as well when he was young. One morning in fourth grade he came downstairs in a suit jacket and vest and his top hat. I looked at him and said you look awfully fancy for school...what's up? He looked at me and said like I should have known... it's picture day today, Mom!
