Why Fish? - Reason Seventeen
 
 Fish are graceful.
This is a big one for me.
The lack of grace was the first thing I noticed.
Back when I was seventeen years old and my crazy symptoms started happening, when Lyme disease was lurking in my body and I did not know…nobody knew.
 I was a ballet dancer back then and movement was my life, with daily after school practices at the dance studio, and big performances of Coppelia and the Nutcracker Suite at the majestic Masonic Temple Theater in Scranton.
 I started feeling clumsy, awkward, lacking the fluidity in my body that once came so naturally. It was debilitating.
 It didn't make sense to me.
 I loved fish and their graceful way of naturally being.
 I dreamed I was a fish.
